2/10 – Cuyahoga Falls City Council Meeting, Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium, Council Chambers, 2345 Fourth Street. 6:30 pm.

2/10 – Simple Greeting Card Class, Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave. Looking for the perfect way to show loved ones that you’re thinking of them? This month’s class is for you. 6:30pm-8pm. Cost: Cuyahoga Falls residents, $12. Non-residents, $15. Call (330) 971-8225 to register.

2/11 – Brewing Basics, Asterisk Coffee Bar, 2101 Front St. Learn the four main variables of making a great cup of coffee as well as brewing techniques for pour-over, French press, drip, and Aeropress. Cost: $15. 6pm-7pm. Visit to register.

2/14 – Rock ‘n Roll Express, Barrio Di Mario, 2209 Front St. Rock the night away with this classic group. 9pm-1:30am. No cover.

2/14-2/16 – The Velveteen Rabbit, The Center for Arts and Music, 118 W. Market St., Akron. Follow the life of a small stuffed rabbit as it becomes real through the love of its owner. Cost: $15. Friday-Saturday, 8pm. Sunday, 2pm.

2/15 – Miniatures Paint & Take, Underhill Games, 1747 State Rd. An introductory course on miniature painting for gaming, all supplies provided. Cost: $15. 1pm-4pm.

2/15 – Dungeons & Dragons for Kids, The Malted Meeple, 53 Milford Dr., Hudson. Let your kids take on the role of a fantasy hero and help tell their own story with fellow players in this universally compelling play experience. Parent or guardian must remain at the Meeple during the event. Ages 9-15. Cost: $5. 2pm-5pm.

2/15 – Point of No Return Improv, Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave. Another year has passed and PNR Improv is still bringing hilarity to the Quirk Center. Watch as the group makes its way through an evening of fun with on-the-spot comedy bits from your suggestions. 7pm. Free.

2/15 – Time Machine Band, Barro di Mario, 2209 Front St. Time Machine will play the best in Classic Rock, Motown, and the 50s & 60s. 9pm-1am. No cover.

2/15 – Madison Cummins, The Wine Mill, 4964 Akron-Cleveland Rd., Peninsula. Madison Cummins will play an acoustic set of covers and her own music while guests wine and dine. 7pm. No cover.

2/15 – KSU African Ensemble, Kent Free Library, 312 W. Main St., Kent. Featuring traditional and modern drumming, dancing, and singing from various African cultural groups, the ensemble will perform and explain the history of this artform. 2pm-3pm. Free.

2/15-2/16 – Oddmall Expedition Elsewhere, Cultural Center for the Arts, 1001 Market Ave. N., Canton. The best place in the universe to nab amazing gifts for the people you love and may have forgotten about Valentine’s Day. Plus music, cosplay, and all things weird. Sat. 10am-6pm, Sun. 10am-5pm. 2/16 – Ukulele Explosion, Akron Civic Center, 182 S. Main St., Akron. The best place to hear the ukulele is here! The Rubber City Ukes and Highland Square Ukes, along with featured guest Shelby Olive, will perform a variety of songs and musical styles on this small but mighty instrument. Cost: $12. 2:30pm. 2/17 – Celebrate the Arts Youth Day Camp, Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave. Celebrate the arts on a day off school. Kids ages 6-12 will explore different art forms such as music, culinary arts, and visual arts. Supplies, lunch, and free t-shirt included. Cost: Cuyahoga Falls residents, $25; Non-residents, $35. 2/18 – Full Circle Storytelling, The Center for Arts and Music, 118 W. Market St., Akron. Tell your own personal story based on the prompt “Just Be Yourself” or just come listen to storytellers from around the Akron and Cuyahoga Falls area. 7pm. $5 cover.
