Our list of things to—you guessed it—see and/or do in and around Cuyahoga Falls in the near future.

2/17 – Celebrate the Arts Youth Day Camp, Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave. Celebrate the arts on a day off school. Kids ages 6-12 will explore different art forms such as music, culinary arts, and visual arts. Supplies, lunch, and free t-shirt included. Cost: Cuyahoga Falls residents, $25; Non-residents, $35. 2/17 – Cuyahoga Falls City Council Meeting, Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium, Council Chambers, 2345 Fourth Street. 6:30 pm.

2/18 – Full Circle Storytelling, The Center for Arts and Music, 118 W. Market St., Akron. Tell your own personal story based on the prompt “Just Be Yourself” or just come listen to storytellers from around the Akron and Cuyahoga Falls area. 7pm. $5 cover.

2/19 – Macrame and Brews, HiHo Brewing Company, 1707 Front St. Learn to make a macrame plant hanger. Ticket includes a plant, pot, and all the materials you need to make your hanger, along with a 10 oz. beer. $40. To register, visit: eventzilla.net.

2/19-2/23 – The Velveteen Rabbit, The Center for Arts and Music, 118 W. Market St., Akron. Follow the life of a small stuffed rabbit as it becomes real through the love of its owner. Cost: $15. Thursday-Saturday, 8pm. Sunday, 2pm

2/21 – Mardi Gras Silent Disco, Downtown Pavilion & Amphitheatre. DJs will provide 3 music options for the evening, allowing guests to choose what they dance to while listening through wireless headphones. Cost: $5 (residents), $8 (non-residents). 5:30pm. Call (330) 971-8225 to register.

2/21 – Winter Art Exhibition Artist Reception, Cuyahoga Valley Art Center, 2131 Front St. Avoid the chilly blues by checking out local talent and the breadth of interests they have chosen to investigate in their art, and which pieces have won. 5:30pm-7pm. Exhibit runs through March 5.

2/21 – FM, Barrio Di Mario, 2209 Front St. This group of 4 musicians from the Cuyahoga Valley area will play an eclectic mix of Classic Rock. 9pm-1am. No cover.

2/21 – Peggy Coyle Trio, Beau’s on the River, 1989 Front St. The trio blends standard, modern, and bluesy jazz into their set. 7pm-10pm. No cover. 2/22 – Magic City Pie Company, Barrio Di Mario, 2209 Front St. It’s a night of 90’s and alternative rock as MCPC performs their first live show as a band, with Socrates and the Philosophers. 8:30pm-1am. No cover.

2/23 – Whole Hearted Truth, HiHo Brewing Company, 1707 Front St. Collide: Cuyahoga Falls will host this event to raise awareness in support of the arts & culture in Cuyahoga Falls.
